Can I visit the property before making a booking?

We understand that you may like to visit one of The Range Estates properties prior to making a booking, however we also don’t want to disturb our guests. Therefore, we ask you to contact us via hello@therangeestates.com.au to find out if there is a suitable time to visit for an inspection. Please note that property inspections are not always possible.


What is your bookings policy?


All bookings are to be pre-paid. Accommodation and private/corporate event bookings require a 50% deposit to hold the requested dates, with the remaining 50% to be paid 30 days prior to arrival. Photoshoot bookings require a 100% payment to secure the requested date(s).

What is your cancellation policy?

All cancellations are non-refundable however we will provide a credit (for use within twelve months) for any booking that is cancelled thirty or more days in advance.


What is included in the price?

Our accommodation rates include nightly accommodation, airport transfers, use of our in-house Mercedes Benz van and three hours of weekly cleaning. All other services are an additional cost and can be quoted and arranged prior to check in. Inclusions for private/ corporate events are quoted case by case. Photoshoot rate includes eight hours of exterior shoot time as well as access to hair/make up area.

Are there any additional charges we must pay for?

Additional charges may be required if guests request services outside of the included rates. Please confirm with us prior to your stay which of these extra services you may like to include, and we can provide you with a quote. A full list of such services can be viewed on our Experiences page.

What is the number of guests?

The maximum number of guests who may occupy our properties is ten guests. The full name of all guests must be advised in writing prior to the date of arrival.


Can I invite people to visit while staying?


The use of all of The Range Estates properties is limited to allocated guests (specified in the booking confirmation) only and no outside visitors are allowed on the properties without prior consent.

When is check in? Check out?

Check in is any time from 2pm. If guests are expected to arrive after 7pm, please let us know the exact arrival time so that we can ensure entry with ease as we don’t operate twenty four hour reception service. Check out is 10am on the date of departure.

What do you consider your peak/high/shoulder/low season?

Our Peak season is 20th December until 20th January and over Easter. High season is all major Australian school holidays. Shoulder season is the end of January until the end of March (depending upon dates of Easter), the first two weeks of September and then mid-October to mid-December. Low season is May until mid-June and mid-July until the end of August.

Do you allow weddings? Parties?

As a general rule, The Range Estates does not allow weddings or parties on any of our properties however please contact us via hello@therangeestates.com.au if your special occasion will be under 50 persons and we will consider the request as per each case.


Do you offer accommodation in exchange for promotional support?


The Range Estates does not exchange accommodation for any sort of promotional support including (but not limited to) influencer endorsement via social media.

Can I shoot inside the homesteads at your properties?

Each of The Range Estates properties is available for exterior shoots only. If you require to shoot the interiors, please contact us via hello@therangeestates.com.au and we will consider the request as per each case.


Do you have wi-fi services at your properties?

Each of The Range Estates properties offers wi-fi service free of charge. Please keep in mind that due to the geographical location of our properties, streaming videos and large downloads may not be possible at certain times (nor is it encouraged).

Do you have television?

While The Range Estates prides itself on offering guests a unique chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy life, we also understand that some may like to spend time watching television, therefore we do offer this facility at all properties.


Do I need a vehicle to access the properties?

Each of The Range Estates properties is located in a rural area (Bangalow and Byron Bay in NSW). It is therefore suggested that guests either bring their own car or rent one so that they can easily access various local attractions, shops, restaurants etc. The Range Estates offers both airport and town transfers in the estate’s seven-seater Mercedes van (included in the nightly rate). Are all properties child friendly?

Each of The Range Estates properties is child friendly. All swimming pools are fenced however it is our guest’s responsibility to ensure the safety of those who cannot swim, especially children. This is also applicable to the various waterways (including creeks, lakes and/or dams) on each of our properties.


Do you allow camping on your grounds?


The Range Estates does not allow camping on the grounds of any of its properties.


Do you accept animals?


The Range Estates does not allow animals on any of its properties.


Is smoking allowed?


The Range Estates does not allow smoking on any of its properties.
